MotoGP » Crutchlow: Time is lacking – but I'm a fast learner

I think Cal is simply pointing out facts--not making excuses. The learning curve in GP is astronomical. Limited testing means less time to learn. Toss in an injury and you hinder that limited testing time even more.

Just facts, people.

Your right, people do need to stick to the topic. I myself, never thought Cal would get this far, especially as he never seemed to be on the Moto gp radar for fans outside the uk.
But people who have followed him from british superbike days when he was on the HM plant Honda will now he is a capable rider. Cal's taking it easy means he's gonna push. He's going to prove he deserved this ride.
Spies said last year, top 10 happy, top 6 really happy.
Cal won't be another Toseland. Us Brits need some more good riders, i just can't believe we don't seem to produce many, considering Stoner did all his racing in the uk and so did bayliss in BSB. We'll see but i'm sure he won't let us down, few top six and plenty of top tens i hope

Well if you are let down by Cal it wont be for lack of effort! This guy seems to will his bike to go faster, he's a do what ever it takes kinda racer.
He's talented, if nothing else, through pure determination.

Hmmm, ok lets see, Cal took over a bike that won in it's 1st championship year with a rookie (Ben Spies) on board. Cal won a few races, went blindingly fast for a few single laps to take a fair few super poles too. No doubt a good rider, but an alien in the making? I think not. Now if MotoGP bike were powered by wind, then he would be in with a title chance for sure!

Not always easy putting your point across in text. Cal will never let me down personally. Just really hope he can adapt well and that he can progress. Just like you said dan. He is determined and got balls of steel that one

Cletus,

Get with the program, as you can see by this thread alone, any abuse directed at any rider other than the false yellow god...particularly Jorge and Stoner...will be allowed to remain and in fact encouraged.

Any negative comment directed at the god of all things yellow will be deleted. This has been the way this site operates for some time. Independent site...I think not.

Isn't it amazing that all those disgusting hate filled rants against Jorge are allowed to stay up...Hmmmmm.....moderator must have missed those...

@Simeon

Its true, people don't stay on the topic, and slag off other riders. Having your say and slagging off riders is two totally different things. I don't think Crash should let any abusive post at any rider be allowed. Criticism is fine but some of the stuff ppl post is just stupid. All the riders are hardcore to even do what they do, but people are just to narrow minded to see the wider picture. Ban the hate filled rants. Sadly it will never happen

EDIT by CRASH.NET:
The reason the posts are going away is because this topic is about Crutchlow. Too many threads are turning into hate threads about other riders. Stay on topic, and don't abuse others, and the comments will stay.

Yet Dray's waaaaaaay off topic post is still sitting there.

I really wouldn't even bring it up if it were not for Crash's inconsistencies.

But hey, their sand box their rules.

I'm sure this one will diappear as well.

Crash has always been biased towards Rossi.I too have noticed that some, shall we say, anti Rossi posts have been removed, yet posts by other users which run down Lorenzo or Stoner are allowed to remain.About time Crash started to show some consistancy with their monitoring of the site.A few users have brought the subject of post deleting up over the last few weeks so it is obviously something which needs to be looked at.

EDIT by CRASH.NET:
We endeavor to be fair and will continue to try. It just seems bias because a few individuals abuse the fans of certain riders and their posts get attention and it has gotten out of hand. If a post abuses the fans of any rider it will get the same treatment. We can't read through each and every post and will miss some.
Now back to the regularly scheduled program.

DearestCrash.net person.

Wassdamaddadeneh? When this sudden insistence that threads stay on topic? Threads have been meandering around off topic for donkeys, now all of a sudden its not good enough PLUS I was being abusive.

I wasn't you know. I just presented an opinion about Rossi's mastery of the public persona verses the private one.

If you want to leave acusatory inserts on people's posts, idiot, don't choose mine as it tends to point the finger and bother to READ what you're deleting first.

Or is that too much trouble for someone who has suddenly decided to keep threads on topic with unprecedented vigour and intolerance.

W*nker

If you want some control of this place get all posters to register so they can be traced and evicted if needed. But you're not going to do that are you? Cost you money and effort wouldn't it.

EDIT by CRASH.NET:
Do it without abuse or using the thread as a place to voice dislike for a rider that isn't in the topic and your comment won't get attention
