The best part about this is the "Verbal" that will go on between Casey and Ben in the post race interviews. No broken English politeness, just tellin' each other how it is and how the results will be different in the next race..

Lets hope for some Kev 'N Wayne (Schwantz/Rainey) arguments!!!!

you just got to like ben spies, hes very laid back but very talented and honest and tells it like it is, which is alot more like the greats of the eighties and early ninetys.

Agreed 123..

btw..Eurosport opens up a new nightly series this evening called "best Battles-Bikes" tonight @1900GMT.
Rainey vs Garner at P.I in 1989 kicks it off on British Eurosport 2, repeated @2300 on Eurosport.
Schwantz, Doohan, Lawson to follow running up to Xmas..check listings for times and channels but as far as I can make out 7pm and 11pm are the key times.
Classic Heavyweight boxing on beforehand if that's your bag too.

Cheers Wosideg! Cannot wait for that.

Not surprised by Spies' comments though, if anything, I think he should be more confident than he sounds (in this article).

He's with a great team that I don't think will rest on its laurels now Tossi and crew have gone and, just as importantly, he's a bloody quick lad!

Good luck to him!
