Here come the haters acting like a 9 time world champ can't possible have anything seriously wrong with his shoulder that even Eddie Lawson said was a serious injury. LET THE HATE BEGIN.

This is one sexy color combination if you ask me. Pure red Ducati with yellow 46. And 1198R is overall much prettier than Desmosedici. Scratch expensive MotoGP bikes and join both series together under the WSBK rules. And we'd have strong class with a field of some 40 bikes. And it would have much better effect on road bikes too - we got RSV4, S1000RR and new Ninja just thanks to WSBK. What brought us MotoGP? Just some minor adjustments and super expensive limited series bikes like Desmosedici RR.

Lets face it Ducati would be fools to not let Rossi test there Superbike seen as to what he did last year for Yamaha, That said lets hope his shoulder isn't as bad as it seems, I hope for a fit Rossi like i hope for all the riders to be fit that way we get the best action on track.

A shoulder injury is serious indeed.
Do you think Yamaha might have considered the shoulder issue when they let him go? And was Ducati aware of how serious it was when they signed him? How aware was Rossi when he switched?
If the injury isn't healed fast enough, will Ducati give up on 2011 and concentrate on 2012? Or will they concentrate on Nicky? Is Nicky smiling for real this time?
I want to believe that VR is faking it so he can smash his opponents on race day, but a shoulder injury is serious indeed.

Not the best news for sure. Hope him and Dani a very speedy recovery looks like the Qatar test will be a better indication how well they will be starting the season.

So if Rossi doesn't win the championship, then this will be the excuse his fans will keep spewing out. Boo Hoo he had a hurt shoulder. If he wins the championship they will still spew out how he won the championship with a injured shoulder. Congrats Rossi, you just got your azz and your fans' azz covered for 2011. Ross and Ducati will be an also ran for 2011 regardless of an injured shoulder or not. This year is all about Stoner/Honda and Lorenzo/Yamaha. We all know this, but some just don't want to accept it. Every career comes to an end. Nothing shameful about it.

Whether Rossi's shoulder injury is as bad as it seems or mind games, I'm sure Ducati wont be too upset, Even if they dont win the championship this year, they will still have tapped into Rossi's legendary developments skills for 2012, got more publicity than they could ever have dreamed of, plus made many times more than they are paying him in memorabilia etc. Personally i hope he can be battling from the first race. Would love to see him win the WC. God how the Rossi haters will be whinging!! javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':D')
