What you Rossi fans DON'T seem to understand is the fact that the 1 second you talk about gaining, is the difference for the rider on this bike, between winning and crashing.

WILL Rossi stick his neck out like Stoner to get into this position? Hayden can't do it, though I have the utmost respect for him...can Rossi?

They may solve the enigma wrapped up in a riddle which is the cf frame, but given that they haven't in 3 years I wouldn't be holding my breath. They KNOW the problem but the technology is not there yet to fix it.
Judging by their own testing with fork flex, its back on the merry go round for another year.

So it is up to Rossi, can he step up!

Raw you were sounding off about Stoner being top step tonight and how you were going to enjoy.., personally I'm enjoying you back pedalling just as much.
If you want people to quote verbatum your in the wrong meadow.. take a breath and deal with the fact that non of the aliens produced anything special.(still miles off rossi times on the yam)
Bautista/Simo and dare I say even Rossi, still in some discomfort by all accounts on a bike no one can ride and only a few 10ths behind Caseys best at the track.. My top 3 no question.. The 4 hondas, which ones which?

And I agree Alien status revoked for all...the 800s are just to easy a jump from the 250s.

Testing times is really important for the whole season base setup data. Ducati specially, they could simulate a lap time for other track virtual bike setup without the rider having go out on the track.

When the new bike has been stretched to achieved the fast pace here in the test, it just need a shorter time to find a race setup for other track. While Ducati still figuring out which direction to go, other factory has already pack up their base setup for the next teat and race season preparations.

It cost 15 million grand, you know...

And the bike to have come race day is....the yamaha M1. Then the honda.

You'll agree it is the best tool out there and the factory tends to come with the right updates asap. If you've paying attention. So as the year progresses they'll be the ones to watch. Honda comes close but until the racing starts I won't put them in the same ball park. Remember Lorenzo is the fastest guy where it mattters which is on the turns while that's the rest's weakness. Rubbing hands.

I wouldnt read too much into the testing times, last years times didnt reflect the championship standings.
Honda are renowned for making a rider friendly bike, history shows that. Yamaha never had a friendly bike until Rossi & Burgess joined.

No doubt.

Last year the championship was decided at the Sepang tests on this board and then fate took its course. Lol.
