I think that the Yamaha will slowly drop away for a time whilst they get used to not having Rossi's team around to develop it as consistently as in the past.

There is no doubt Lorenzo inherited an amazing bike much like Rossi did with Doohan (and the garage gang). Whether or not he can maintain it remains to be seen, let alone better it. I personally don't think he will repeat last years effort, and he definitely will not if the aliens stay healthy.

I'm interested to see if Rossi's team can develop the Ducati into a winning package. Regardless of what alot of people seem to think - Stoner was given nothing on a silver platter when he went Red. He turned that Ducati into a winning formula that worked for him and his team.

The Honda's will take more flags that anyone this year. An amazing stable of riders and a massive bucket of money and motivation to make it happen.

Don't be surprised if Stoner or Pedrosa take the glory this year.

My 2c.

Always Rememeber the Yamahas have the smoothiest engine than any other bike...the have good horsepower for top end ,the only thing missing is the lack of torque as the V4s good at it....the handling is the best part of the M1...if they can sort out the rear traction and get some engine power in lower gears "mark my words"....Yamahas gonna rule again for the 4th consecutive year....for sure Hondas seems like giants nw.....lets w8 n c....n forgot to mention tht hopefull ness tht ducati gets atleast a podium in evry race...

dude, Honda has a good engine but yet to prove its stability factors and corner speed. Yamaha has good corner speed and the best handling bike there. they lack just 2-5% of hondas midrange power (acceleration)... common guys cut the crap and vote for Yamaha again. Dukes???.....sorry no comments old goat painful fate..:(

This guy will forsure not win as many races as last year, unless Stoner/Rossi/Pedrosa/Spies are all having problems and miss races. That's the only reason he won so many last year ...

Honda has the best chance this year after 4 years of Yamaha Champs since their last Champ, they are rapidly improving as shown in the testing.

Dude control your egos and emotions, lorenzo won fair and square(stoner, lorenzo & pedrosa were injured in 2009)....rossi took the crown jus cuz of the lame reason.
