So Vale started strong, but could not improve his time over the day. CS27 and DP26 continue to make strides and look the guys to beat. Nice to see CE5 up there right behind Jorge. Impressive. Finally rid himself of last years lack of feel in the turns? Hope so. Ducati still has a fair bit of work to do, Nicky and all the satellite boys were down the order again....more tomorrow :)

I think we've all seen that Stoner can jump on any bike and push it to it's limit right from the get go. What he has struggled at though is setting the bike up to be fast or kind to the tires, he just goes out and give 110%, sometimes that hasn't gone well for him.
So it's no surprise to me to see him top, be he's going to need pedrosa's setup data to keep the quickest bike under him.

Rossi can follow Mourinho's footsteps in seeking the blessings of a shaman from Africa. Or maybe if he would apologize to Casey for the LS 2008 incident Casey would take him to an Aboriginal shaman. Let's hope that the gods do find his conspicuous celebrations amusing and are willing to do him a favor.

Why is Rossi taking a WC winning bike, a bike that was second in the last race down to 9th place. He's consistently doing it. Stubborn isn't he.

Mr B, what you know about Stoners set up ability would fit comfortably under an atom. Remember how many team mates Stoner blitzed at Ducati? And do you really think he managed that by just going balls out without any knowledge of how to set the bike up?

Fact is while many here would critisize Stoner for the amount of time he spent in the pits he usually had the bike set up better than his teammates come race day, and thats no small feat on the Ducati as Rossi is now finding even with the improved version.

All the times are much the same as the last test final times. The only reason Rossi has climbed a couple of places is 2 riders went slower this time (Nicky being one of them!!).
What happened with Simmo? Good effort from Colin, nice to see.

some person says stoner is the fastest racer on earth- oh dear bless your little fantasy - there is no such person - regardless of the type of motorsport.

@ grantrd

Snatch is relevant to so many situations in life.

@ Oh Dear

How do you know what Stoner had on the bike? And do you really think he was the only one running soft tyres looking for fast laps? Stop fooling yourself mate. He has been at the top or close to it at EVERY SINGLE test since he got on that Honda. You're only lying to yourself buddy.

Will see thursday times, where I can almost guarantee Stoner and the other Honda boys at the top.

Hiroshi also looking awesome.
