Rossi could have used a soft tyre, he has them available to him. The fact is, that today, Casey was the fastest using the resouces that are available to ALL of them.

Not sure why everyones excited about testing lap times, all the top riders set their best times on soft tires except Rossi, & JL had the most consistant pace not stoner.

All the top riders barring Rossi were on the softs...stop looking for excuses....Casey aced the lot of them.

@Navi Kimi all the fast guys on a soft. Rossi didn't use a soft tyre but he was happy 'cos Ducati working on hard tyre. It didn't last time

Maybe the soft could be worth half a second, the shoulder half a second and 3/10's could be gleaned from a sore ar5e when Torchio gets through with him.

Stoner was the most consistent by the proverbial mile:

The Australian today did 53 laps, the best in 2.00.987 but under the 2.2 went well 17 times.

Just to clarify things Pedrosa has covered 46 laps, falling below the 2.2 " only 3 times. Lorenzo , 50 rounds, 4 times, Edwards , 42 laps, 1 time.

Dovizioso 54 laps, he did his best at the 47th and scored only four laps in the pace of Stoner. Spies , also, during his 47 laps he has made only three as the Honda rider.

Be very afraid!!!!!!

In 2007 when Stoner didn't have a cf bike he was the most consistent rider in the field. Add to this riding a competent bike and your seeing the BEST RIDER OUT THERE...lap it up haters
