Well testing is now and 1 more to go so if the mighty Rossi and those who hitched their wagons to him need to get it right because they will be racing very soon. Soon they will have 80 seconds left.

I hope Stoner enjoys being rimmed, I am suprised he posted the time he did with all that weight on his bike, ie so many idiots up his ass. This is testing not racing - as a few of the realists have said, alot of people will be very shocked how the season really turns out. World Champions like all the best in any sport will always draw diversity of opinion, but amazing the amount of people who write riders off. What some of you sofa experts need to do is be a passenger on the back of any of these guys bikes to realise they are ALL bloody good. debating is great but some of you posters represent really well the ignorance and misplaced agression too prevalent in the world, and on line forums should be good humoured banter with informed opinion.

With so much going wrong ducati and rossi..shoulder,flu and a first day timing of top 6 until the final hours..and only using hard tires ..there still may be hope...never write of Rossi..lets c how 2011 unfolds in four weeks time..times do change and they change times in the morning second laps...and then cant better it..some thing fishy..stoner u r fast but ur possed with two things -a fast time and second u have a great rival dani...may be its stops at testing...race a different story ...

Impressive pace from the Repsol squad, but am I the only one who's not surprised by Stoner leading the testing times? I seem to recall him often being the fastest rider in tests on the Duc, and often in practice AND qualifying leading up to a race... but failing to win the championship 3 out of 4 times paints a much clearer picture. I guess I forgot to drink the Kool-Aid because I'm not seeing anything new here.

To all those who say testing counts for nothing. I say those who head the test time sheets win championships. Never in the history of racing has a slow machine won a championship. Slow bike plus over the hilll former champion equals figure of fun. I wouldn't be suprised of Rossi pulls out of the championship half way through the season.

Ducati was no good at Sepang testing 2010? Rossi first, Stoner second 0.241 secs slower, Hayden third 0.432 slower. The Rossi/Burgess magic touch has taken Ducati bikes from 2nd and 3rd, and both inside half a second off the best time to outside the top 10 and nearly 2 seconds slower. I guess Ducati were just lucky in 2010 that Stoner can't develop a bike, right?

@supakat: No i dont think Stoner is getting rimmed so the question of whether he is enjoying it is silly. I do how ever think he is having an absolute ball on that bike and the only thing better than the lap he is on is the one coming up. Rossi is going to have to channel Stoner to do any thing worth while and Stoner is going to have to channel Rossi to completely feck it up. 11th again!!!!!!!!!!
