I think this is what Ducati needed for a wake-up call. The Desmo has been a 1 rider bike for a long time, and i think Casey (and to a lesser extent Nicky) have made it work before through 'balls-out' riding rather than actually refining the overall package in to something other riders could handle. Hopefully the refinements being made by them now will lift more of the ducati's nearer the front and get rid of some of the reputation for it being a career killer.

They will need to put something together here and soon. I expected VR to be somewhere around the mid pack, but not Nicky???? Third year on the bike? It's not like he just got on this bike for the first time..... But I have to be honest, that it is refreshing to see some of the new guys hanging out in front... its just too bad they aren't on the Duc's............Let the racing begin!!!!!!!! Prediction for first race is 1)Stoner, 2)Pedrosa,3)Sic.....javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20'')

I am also worried ,cause I am a rossi fan and watching motogp only because of him ..
honda has improved a lot ..that we must agree ,,cause each and every honda rider is showing BIG improvements ...I didn't find any improvements in yamaha section..they are going down ...cause they lost two main guys
I hope rossi will show gr8 improvements in qatar...previous years factory ducati riders were flying ..qatar is ducati's land

It looks like ducati have made small improvements in handling but Honda and Yamaha were already handling great and Honda has stepped it up tremendously.
When the racing starts bautista wont be there and neither will barbera. But there is still to much ground to make up.
I would try the flex parts at Qatar first thing and see how the feeling is before I just try setup after setup hoping the answer is somewhere.
I know they will make up ground at the next test, and there is really only one or two problems with the bike but unfortunately its cornering. Sort that and you can get on with it
