Well, now Casey has made a definate decicion on the chassis he wants,he can spend some more time concentrating on the other elements of the bike he may want to adjust to suit him.And by the look of things, they wont need much adjustment!!
Great to see him enjoying himself on this bike rather than wrestling with it as he was with the Ducati. He just needs to keep a level head when the races start!
Good luck this season Casey.

Good choice by Casey to go with the stiffer chassis.
Reason:It's what works for him and always has.If it works for you, don't fix it.
The Honda is more compliant and forgiving by nature in other areas.So,yes.Well considered, well set up,and well done with the easy peasy sub 2 minute lap.
HRC value his input beyond belief right now.
This missile is only going to go faster, but he's for the first time in years in a position to race at 98% rather than at 100 + 1 % on occasion to remain competitive race in and race out.Good going !!!

So Stoner does a full tank race simulation at the pace of Ducati's qualification pace with a quickest lap at 2'00.9.... And then says he will try to really set the bike up at Quatar.

"....I didn't really want to wait until the end to go for a '59 in case it rained. So I thought 'right, we better do something in the morning'."

I am not saying he shouldn't but this guy certainly likes to set the fastest time.

btw just think how much quicker Rossi would have been on the Honda.
