se saw, a slower bike that you could actually turn and change lines entering bends. Why was Stoner so far in front of Cappa who was Ducati's No1 se saw? No Stoner, no title to Ducati.

No overnight specials like Rossi, or multi squillion dollar development budgets for Ducati.

They were so poor Stoner had to win the car awarded at testing for fastest lap just to get home from the track. Just admit it se saw Rossi had EVERY advantage a rider could have.

LOL @ RCBOY2

If you did away with half the electronics......Hondas would be on the deck. Only the truly talented riders would come out on top.

Wake up mate, the talented always come out on top, TC or not.
"Rossi and Hayden, old school riders...been around and know how to use throttle control"

I'm sure Stoner grew up dirt tracking sideways with state of the art TC and GPS too!!

I guess that's the trouble when you don't have a clue what you're talking about, you don't know that you don't know.
So now you do.
EVERY GP rider has throttle control skills beyond the comprehension of non-GP riders like you and me - if indeed you ride at all. That includes Pedro, Dovi, Sic, Aoyama, Toni Elias and every Honda rider before them too.
Get a clue and you may avoid embarrassing yourself in future.

se se.......stoner had an advantage in 07???rubbish he just outrode everyone on a bike that had no place winning the championship. rossi is so horrendously slow on that bag of bolts now and it shows stoner was epic that year.....
rossi over the course of his career in the premier class has had so many advantages with best bikes and tyres I've lost count. Now the shoe is on the other foot and he better sort that thing out asap or his record will be tarnished. And I don't mean race wins I mean he better win the championship because he has put this pressure on himself and he didn't have too....

Surely will be colourful when Rossi does a technicolour yawn down the front of his leathers after being flogged by the other mid- pack riders.

Is Rossi really testing the top speed you can go with a cigarette in your mouth? Be it in a helmet and all don't seem to matter. My theories for Rossi's pathetic performance are really just trying to ease the pain of those who hold out hope. It all gone. Well it's in 11th place ...

If Pedrosa doesnt get injured it could well be
Stoner and himself 1-2 in the championship. I reckon Simoncelli will be fast but maybe inconsistent.

One important thing this Testing has thrown up, and that is that it's put fire in the belly of the Rossi haters. During last season they were having to use George's name to bag Rossi, now they can use Casey's.

Casey looks odds on to win the Title this year and I hope he manages it. If Dani, George and yes even Rossi can't mount a challenge then it will be like the Agostini days, 2mins in front every race.

@The Mentalist, re: I wouldn't count Rossi out just yet. He WILL fix the Ducati it's just the thing he can't fix his shoulder.

it is about the bike, not about shoulder. Here is what Wayne Gardner has to say about it:

I think the fact that they're this far back indicates a fair degree of confusion within the factory. I've always thought Ducatis have had a fundamental geometry problem, and I think they're only just now starting to realize it. I can't believe it's taken this long.

As things stand, I don't believe they're even close to sorting the bike and are going to have to work extremely hard to come up with a solution. It must be a major concern for Ducati. I've said previously that I thought Vale wouldn't be happy with the bike until mid-year, but maybe that timeframe is now overly optimistic. For the first time we might have to consider the possibility that he may not even win a race this year.
