@nebar1
I don't class myself as a Rossi hater but I certainly am enjoying seeing him get his just desserts. He has always had an unfair advantage in terms of equipment or inferior team mates. When this was obvious last year he took the cowards way out and the rest is a comedy and will continue to be so until he retires. Good rider but not a good bloke.

Casey has said something magnanamous about Rossi and his struggles. Not a direct quote but what he said was 'I don't know what Ducati have changed on that bike, Valentino wouldn't be that slow'

Rossi has said 'maybe I could have gone a little faster. Right now I have no answer'

to 'Rossi who?' :)
to earth1, your choice of word 'comedy' :)

Back to headline...'colourfull season'.
Let's hope the Telly coverage focuses on the less 'colourfull' titanic scraps up front, rather than the scrambled egg, liberally dosed with ketchup and egg white battle raging midfield.Chuck in a burned frying pan for a good palate.
Please !!!
What Ducati changed is revealing its inception with Stoner's abscence back in 2009. Soften it up,Big Bang,a nice to ride package for all in anticipation of Valentino's arrival, leading all to the promised land. I wonder how long it will be before Old MO' strikes the rock!
End game. The 2010 and 2011 D16 can be directly laid at the feet of Nick,Vale and particularly Marlboro! They got what they wanted. Last year,Casey made do with that piece of work too.
Right now its a case of...they wished for it and they apparently have it.
Now,as Marlboro are paying Vale 3X more than Casey, surely they expect him to be 3X faster in Quatar.Tick Tock Tissot. Can't wait for the fallout.

To pour some fuel (also known as facts?) to fire:

- Honda's power/lap time advantage in Sepang test is mainly due to use of IGS DCT-like transmission, which btw designed by 3rd company (Xtrac) and readily sold to others. Expect it to be adopted to other bikes in a few races, if not by Qatar test
- while IGS tranny provides 3-5% increase in acceleration time comparing to traditional sequential/QS set up it probably has fewer gearing options available. Less then optimal gearing on some tracks may negate all the gains

Casey Stoner - No.1

The Best, Fastest Tester of all time.

23 Grand Prix wins and a World Champion back in 2007.

Someone should tell him, Lorenzo's eating his lunch, and between him and Rossi, Yamaha has been punking Honda for their lunch money.

With all the effort Honda has in this seasons GP and 5 factory bikes on the circuit, I sure hope someone comes out ahead for their sakes, maybe not.

"Surely will be colourful when Rossi does a technicolour yawn down the front of his leathers after being flogged by the other mid- pack riders.
Posted by name - Unregistered"
hehehe...I don't think anyone would notice if he barfed all over his leathers and the bike, with that awful colour scheme!
