wolfrain, there are fools everywhere, you just have to get used to them. I think what bradenws was trying to say is that Ducati cant develop a bike. Stoner only requires a lap or two to tell the engineers which direction to go (for setup), he spent most of last year trying to sort the Ducati in short bursts. This year he can focus more on race setup (over longer stints in practice), which may just result in him not having to ride a bike beyonds its limits to stay at the front. Time will tell

So far Rossi and his team are doing an outstanding job in developing the Ducati backwards. 11th place in the last test!!! Dont worry about front end and traction control. He isn't going fast enough to experience front end loss or require traction control because he's not loosing traction. But he's comfortable and relaxed as will the team be.

ooj, you are correct as I cannot see traction control having an effect on front end issues. I wouldn't rate nebar1 as a Flossi fan though, he seems to be a Rossi fan, though open to debate which rates him far higher in my book than most posters here. It was also a fair question, and Stoners apparent interests in crashing, as I see them, are 2006 proving he was fast at all costs (read balls) 2008 onward a combination of stress verses "I am here to win despite I might crash" some will say that he has balls others will say he is stupid. My question is, who would you prefer to watch riding the Ducati, Hayden, Melandri, Cap, or Stoner!

Thankyou for your support sleepy. Whenever I mention Casey,in whatever context, I get jumped on.

I've said it before Stoner is a phenomenon, but flawed. I truly believe the lad suffered in 2008 because he trounced the field in 2007 and, despite 6 wins the following year he failed to repeat it. I know that the CF probably required totally different riding styles, but I think his confidence had taken a huge knock and had some affect on his riding since.

I'm aware of what people are saying about front end issues and I still think electronic aids would have some influence in falling or not falling.
None of this means that I hate Stoner, or that I want Rossi's baby.

Who knows Bob, Who knows?

You probably have read that Rossi has promised his Italian fans that he will chase a fast time in the next test. That will show us all what he is made of.
Personally I don't believe it will take him 34 years to tame the Duc. Maybe 3 races though.
