rossi, can and would be world superbike champ no problem at all .i think its a great idea and the oganisers would love him tobe in the championship ,can you imagine the tv coverage ect,he is the best motorcycle racer of all time ,you cant get away from it he is something very very special.

I can't see any reason why not would be a good benchmark to see if Rossi is a good as many people beleive. Would be great to see him on machinery we ride on the road. I think it would be a good move but only after securing a final championshipin in GP or this could be seen as a step down! Back to Back titles in different championships. Would he be the only rider to do this?

No - he would just increase the chances of getting hurt. He's had 2 serious injuries now and to end-up like a Doohan isn't worth whatever the money paid. He's in decline now and will be finished soon. might go to WRC to keep himself amused.

I think it would be great... IF he had the exactly the same equipment, factory support and quality of technicians as his team mates....it would be 'real world' indication of his ability
