Liam, if you think top 7 is of any importance...then good for you.

If it's outside of top 3 with his career history, then who's being the fool, eh?

VR says Hondas are on another planet but could maybe fight in the second group on race day.from twitter feed There you have it what we all know at the moment. If you are not on a Honda you might as well pack up now.

Hmm, I can not see Rossi finishing in the top 6 I'm afraid, there is total honda domination here.

And as 1 poster put it Rossi is only around 0.300 from Lorenzo which I think is a good marker.

As for comparing Rossi to Stoner on the Ducati, well they have completely differant riding styles, Stoner is a damn quick rider & is no where near as smooth as Rossi, & whilst Rossi is smoother he has to learn this bike.

As some have mentioned on this forum, some of his fans may desert him, well his true fans won't, even if he finishes off the podium every race this year it wont bother me.

Give him a fair chance and it will come good. I expected Lorenzo to be abit higher up than he is but it does go to show how good the Honda package is this year. Dani finaly could win a WC , let's face it those honda riders are sure gonna take points from each other, spies looking good too.

Kev182,

Not to rain on your parade but that 0.28 was in a single lap....now, add that up over 1 lap, 2 laps, 3 laps, 4 laps etc.

Now...a race is between 25 & 28 laps usually.

Get the picture? And as you say that's just back from Lorenzo, not even close to Pedro or Stoner.

Face it lads...your false God has fallen, he's just a guy on a bike with none of his contract imposed advantages anymore, whose ego took him out of a soft seat at Yamaha....and now REALITY BITES!!!!

Tweet me, love to beat you more www.twitter.com/lalajohnny but have to go back to the grown ups...sorry I missed you Morgue

Wow! Rossi is the GOAT for sure. He and burgess are set up gods!

Lets hope Rossi can get on the top 5 this season or its going to be a very embarrassing end to his career.

Furusawa-led Yamaha had humility, which allowed them to see the truth clearly. Guareschi-led Ducati Hubris on the other hand... some quotes:
"Whoa I did a good job!"
"We now understand exactly what we want from the bike. We are happy"
"It's important that I continue to ride the bike"
"We don't want to change the bike"
Having your overconfident test rider run the team is a conflict of interest and a classic management error. How many races before he gets fired?
