Sunday could be very interesting indeed.

Massimo Meregalli, Yamaha Factory Racing Team Director
"We are satisfied with Ben's bike set up, he was consistently quite fast. Ben didn't push 100% which makes us confident for the race weekend. We didn't try a really long run but managed to maintain a consistent fast pace with a used tyre.

Just remember how many times Riders have dominated qualifying and done nothing in the race. Then also remember how many times Rossi has started back in the pack and Won. Even as far back as 14th once.
Qualifying and practice does show up certain things, but it not the same as a race.
Go Rossi.

rossi just told me he finished testing some parts, the parts he shouldve tested when he got sick at the last test...he's not pushing yet to size up the field. He said to not get worried, and qatar is when racing begins ..GO ROSSI !!! 1st place or last place, real fans stick with him :)

Motojunky,do you remember that the duke, needs clear track,to get the best out of it,have you heard stoner saying that slower riders get in his way, especially corner entry, where you have to push the bike hard, otherwise, you will lose it,at the pace that rossi is going at the moment,he cannot push it, hence 2 falls already,so coming from behind half the field, is only wishful thinking on your part.cheers

Mt theory is Lorenzo is working on a new trick. Whether bike setup or improve his riding technique. While Rossi can't be denied that he is struggling.

My observation on 2010 comparing both riders and their bikes detected that when both crashed, Rossi's M1 look ordinary. While Lorenzo's M1 looks very safe at high speed. In a normal cases, that kind of bike setup would be difficult to turn. But Lorenzo rode that bike very smooth for the whole season. It wonders me more...

3 Repsol Hondas in the top 5.Total domination again.Interesting to see Ben 4 places ahead of Jorge too! Posted by hoppy (5 hours ago) Rewriting my previous post: I think some of the riders may not be showing their cards just yet. I will not be surprised if one of them will dispatch the rest of the field come race day. Hope Elbowz will be the one for Suzuki's sake, Rossi the one for the naysayers sake.
