MotoGP » Pedrosa’s pace plummets due to tyre problem

"I had a problem with the rear tyre that we need to understand. It's the first issue we've had this winter with the tyres, so I hope it's an exception to the rule” – Dani Pedrosa.

This could easily happen to any rider on race day, just goes to show all this talk about test times don't mean jack! Sure it's interesting and speaks volumes of where riders are at but you'ed be well advised not to hang your hat on it.

Won't be long before panic grips the garage I reckon.

They won't like being beaten on their own hardware, and even though his relationship with Casey appears to be quite good - it can't last. Not in this competitive field.

Why did he use the soft tyre??? It wont last the race and his team mate did the whole session on the hard tyre and handed him it on a plate.
Grasping at glory ????

Hmmmmmmmmm like scoot said, why mess about with a soft when it's obvious it wont last the distance, you may be small and light Dani but ffs I hope your throwing a curve ball on this.

Way to go Dani! That's exactly the thunderous look to spot on your face each time you have such a s**tty performance like that. Utter boy! That's the fire to have in the belly, none of this, yeah, we had a good practice and made some improvements! Yet, all this just points to how things can go so wrong so suddenly. If this was a real race, Dani would almost certainly have failed even to make podium. I am not making any predictions any more (if you will forgive the one I just spun a moment ago!)
