Brookes would be awesome and better than Crutchlow lol what rubbish.

Brookes couldnt even hold his own when he done a wildcard in wsbk at silverstone last year, and he even dominated the superstock motogp support races he done there a couple months earlier.

As much as I would like to see Hopper go on the GSV-R, it's probably a good thing that he is nowhere near Qatar.

He has only had a few exhibition laps on a MotoGP bike in over 2 years. If he were to race, with only one practice and qualifying session left he would at best embarrass himself on the underperforming Suzuki, or at worse fall off and hurt himself trying not to finish last.

Give the guy some testing then bring him in for the next round.

Too bad for AB, he seems to be a class act. Suzuki should use this opportunity to save themselves more embarrassment and not replace AB this season or ever. What's the point in making a halfhearted effort and getting thrashed every year? Focus on sbk where you hava a chance.

Yeah I agree it would be a big ask for Hopper to step in this late.

According to MCN's Matt Birt though Suzuki are still trying to get him over from San Diego in time to qualify.

Can't help but wonder if Bautista is heading along the same track as Vermuelan. Over riding bikes to make up for bikes shortcomings. Thus leading to accidents and injuries. Hope not. Get well soon and start looking for another team.
