I never expect Jlo to win the inaugural race in qatar. that's Stoner terrytory. A podium will be great for him. When European races then it will be another story. There's where jlo will be tough to beat.

That's ok Vonich. We understand you Rossi fans will stoop to anything when your hero is down. But no matter what you say it can't be any lamer than what comes out of your idols mouth.

"I think Lorenzo will break under the pressure from Stoner, Pedrosa & Spies."

Like he did at Valencia 2010 when he recovered from a near fall after hitting a blocking Simoncelli and passed and embarrassed everyone for the win?

Wishful thinking does equal reality.

Lorenzo is a treat, maybe not at this track but he's a treat and a more mature one by the minute.

Casey traditionally seemed to prefer the latter half of the season on the Duc, so it will be interesting to see how he fares, likely against Jorge during the stack of European rounds in the first half.

I'm not convinced Casey will dominate as much as testing suggests.

The championship could go to the wire all things considered, hope so!

Lorenzo is good at qualifying but a much more consistent racer towards the end of the race. If he starts good and Stoner or Pedrosa don't pull away in the first laps, Lorenzo will be there. They are not going to race in 54s.

The 2011 battle looks a classic Honda vs Yamaha season, with Stoner showing how to ride a factory Honda to Pedrosa and Dovizioso, and with Lorenzo defending his crown, because I think that the improvement from Honda comes from Stoner pushing the other Honda riders. Did you notice that now Pedrosa has no excuses about his bike performance? Or maybe Pedrosas Honda problem is now the australian menace?

Good race for tomorrow

@Josete Spain

Good comment ...Jeremy Burgess was interviewed in the latest AMCN and said the only "step up" Honda has made since the end of last year is hiring Stoner (he hinted he still talks to a lot of guys at HRC)

Pedrossa and Dovi have had to lift their game substantially, thus making the Honda appear "much improved"

Also, predicting a championship or even a race is never a good broken wrist/leg/hip/foot is usually the end of both

If you look at last years race results I have come to the decision that how the guys QP'ed for the most part was the race results. Or that is how I remembered it anyway. Once again all factory riders for the most part. Not one race won by a non-alien. Most of the good racing from off the podium. I do not to be hit over the head with brick.

The riders are very close...The guy with the best kit and setup is going to do very well...I can tell you this...Put Randy on the fastest, best handling bike...We would not even be talking about, Rossi, Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Dovi, Simoncellit or Spies.

The best kit usually wins it all...And this year looks not different to me...Just a difference circumstance that is going to be the dirrerence.

Like Rossi in 04. . . particularly Welkom, embryonic Yam beat Biaggi on a well developed rc211v

Like Stoner in 07. . . ditto with Duc Vs Rossi Yamaha

Of course the bike is a big deal, but does it not make you slightly suspicious that the Factory rides always go to former WC's from 250 or 125? Thats because theyre the best riders and have proven themselves in the lower classes, why wouldnt they get the best rides, theyve earned it!!!!

I'd never slag off De Puniet to prove a point cause he is a great rider, he wouldnt be there if he wasnt, but i dont think for a minute that he's better than Stoner, Rossi, Lorenzo, Spies. . . he's neither as fast or consistent as any of them regardless of his machine.

Spies was . . .
