cont. . . . Spies was on a satellite yam last year and look at what he achieved in his first year compared to what RDp has in his entire career. . .speaks volumes about talent vs equipment i think!

They say that defending a title is harder than winning one.Well,i think Jorge is going to find out this year that the statement is true!
Much pressure on him now,not just from other teams but from his own team mate too.But i think he has the mental and physical strength to handle this pressure. He is a class rider and will be hungry for another world trophy to put in is cabinet.Good luck to him.

This is not Welkom in 2004, That bike was on pole and all the Hondas were chattering because Michelin took tire development in the Yamaha direction. Colin Edwards (movistar honda that season) even called it the Yamaha tire. Why would Michelin deliberatley make tires for Yamaha and force everyone else to use them?Could it be.....

All the testing so far this season has been on circuits with ultra long straights, lets see how the Honda reacts at Jerez and the likes before everyone goes overboard.

I think you may find the Yamaha comes into it's own at the next GP.

I'm hoping that it's all a bit closer when the lights go out than Q times suggest. Until they are all out there on the tyres they need to run the distance (harder than they put in for the fast lap it seems) with the fuel strategy/power set-up etc. we won't know. CS is fave IMO for Qatar cos of his record there, but both factory Yam riders are good on worn tyres and can run consistent high pace for race distance. My money (barring pile-ups/fallers)would be on CS bolting fast and the rest trying to reel him in. It seems DP, JLO & BS are likely to be the chasing pack. Not a better, but predict CS, DP & JLO for the podium in that order. The mid-pack looks like it could be a right old bun-fight - hope the Director stops being all Arty and keeps the cameras off the pit crew and on the Racing (pet hate of mine!).

Wow, Lorenzo has just completed a very impressive warm up practice! Makes you dream of the #Yamaha bringing the fight into Honda camp. Let's hope for an awesome race, regardless of the winner. And best of luck for both Yamaha riders!
