Terol was in a class of his own and deserves full credit for having been able to break away in the first place but remember that it's much harder to put in fast lap times when you're racing with others as you can't take sweeping entry lines without someone block passing you. That's why you see riders occasionally indicate to each other not to try to pass until they've caught up with the leader(s). It's necessary to take that into account when comparing lap times of a rider on his own, (who can use all the track), with those in a group.
