'I'm no longer able to ride like I have to'. This really tells the whole story- he is not the fittest and age is coming against him. Still 7th was no bad finish...

Lorenzo rode very well as expected, Stoner rode as expected and deserved the great win. Pedrosa had bad luck and now ? ? ?, glad Dovi got one over Simo and....the smooth Mr Spies did not disappoint an interesting procession and.......you were waiting for it, you know you were...having tracked a load of related articles this year already, the Furusawa article was somewhat informative and leaves you believing that once the Ducati people have time to absorb and act upon the Rossi / JB and team people reporting, the machine will improve and yeah everyone seems to be saying its not the engine and looking at the Qatar footage, Rossi's body language suggests this loud and clear So, am going to enjoy the racing for all the riders this year and not get hung up about whether Rossi can come back as its only a matter of time this season.
Anyone who has watched the racing for a few years 2001-current should be able to see a fantastic year of racing in 2011.
50/50 for Stoner or Lorenzo for the cro

I hope Stoner wins by only a second or 2 every race. Pulling 15 second gaps is unnecessary. Just manage the gap and the season is his. Try for pole but don't kill yourself to do it.

7th is not a bad start. I believe in a few races he will fight for podium. 2nd half he will fight to win. Compared Rossi to Stoner in one race is unfair. Stoner was 4 seasons in Ducati and he only grab 1 WC with so many crashes. Just wait until same period than we can compare.

Rossi finished around were I expected him to finish. He hasn't had the pace to be top 5 all preseason so it was a bit of a stretch to think he would do it in the race.

Hayden did finish better than I thought he would. Miserable Q and an awful start don't lead to much but he kept his head down and picked off a few riders.

Surely Ducati has learn a thing or 2 over the last week. They need to get those bikes sorted because the more the merrier at the front.

Im worried about Rossi's mental attitude. He's already been defeated. He refers to his fitness and strength too much. In the back of his mind he knows he's a shot duck. Of course he will improve, but it will be far to late. Stop making excuses Rossi and just work your backside off.

Rossi keeps saying that he can't keep strength in his shoulder for the entire race. But just go to the motogp website and look at his lap times. They do not drop off much at all except the last 1-2 laps. Stoner and Pedros's lap times fell off more than Rossi's did.
