The two British Tech3 class Rookies Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith impressed the most tbh. Brad more so because it was so unexpected and he was highest placed Rookie in Moto2 after Pirro who's previously raced 600s in Supersport.

Been a fan of Ben's since his AMA Formula Xtreme days, but have to admit I was a little disappointed it took him so long to work his way around Rossi. Also, surprised at how little praise Rossi seems to be receiving given his struggles all winter & in qualifying. Finishing as the top Ducati, as well as in front of all privateer teams isn't something to be brushed under the rug. Lightening start too. We should also remember that Marco is essentially on a factory RC.

Vale got big assets, fast bike, huge of money n nice teammate (solid team).
He just didnt find better set up yet!
it's about a little time to have a cure on GP11, He is a doctor.
99 got good bike, but till when?
coz what he had is just a legacy from Vale.

The Ducati factory team impressed me considering they were really staring down the barrel of finishing outside the top 10. Rossi snuck himself in there and stayed there all race and Hayden coming back from dead last after stopping when De Puniet fell off must give them a little bit more faith.

Least impressive is Ben Spies, I'm a big fan of his speed and style, but even on a factory bike he still messes up the first 8 laps and then goes like a stabbed rat when it's all too late.

Stoner because he looked like he was on rails, pushed hard when he thought he could gap Pedro and Jlo then just did what was needed to win, most professional race I've ever seen from him very Doohanesc.

Lorenzo did what a defending WC should do he got the maximum points he could amid a pack of Hondas.

I don't think the Yamaha is as far away from the Honda as some make out and that Stoner and Lorenzo are the real differences on each package.

800cc 4 cyl Boring!!!
Bring back the 500cc two-stroke.
Or just open it up to unlimited capacity any number of cylinders, the richest factory wins, better sounds, more interesting machinery, as it always was....
