"that sounds a little better than Laguna 2008 when he said he had to 'shoot' Stoner to win, which he duly did,off track at the corkscrew.

Nah, mate, you are as usual just being bitter. Rossi stuffed him the whole race, starting at 2 corners before "The Corkscrew" and every lap thereafter until Stoner's head blew up and he blew it when he was confident he was gonna walk it. In fact a bit like a Mr Biaggi at Donington last weekend.

Rossi will not podium at Jerez. It's not possible unless a whole bunch of guys fall down in front of him for a whole bunch of reasons. I'm thinking Stoner and Lorenzo will be tied by the end of the weekend. These are the two best guys at the moment and for the foreseeable future. The battle between them will be epic this year.

Yes.. why some ppl posting with a bitter edge? (is it Max Biaggi each time?) I don't 'think' Casey would be winning if he were on the Duc this weekend as Yam & Honda are too good for the Duc at the moment. But if any1 could do it.. it would be Casey.. or by mid season maybe Vale. No more injuries for any1.

I think, sadly, that it is unlikely for a Rossi podium any time soon. The triumvant of casey, Jorge and Dani are so on the case that those arguing Rossi's championship days are done feel vindicated. All the recent great champs careers have ended due to injury, Rainey, Scnwantz, Fogarty (WSB), Doohan. Vale could be the next. However I feel unwilling to write off his chances. Especially considering the problems Japan is suffering. Developing 2012 Motogp bikes must be low on the list of priorities. I'd like to see Vale get another title and some more records, but not because of environmental problems.

Re ....You keep feedin urself this tripe an get ready for when VR starts kickin butt again.

And when in your dreams do you predict this may happen?

There is nothing so sad to behold than an old pantomine dame who no longer can remeber her lines. It's a bit like watching poor old Valentino wobble around the the track. He knows he must go round and round but can't remember why!

Interesting senario here.A rider who has had great success on this track riding a bike that has had none!
How are they going to solve this problem?
I have no idea, but they are going to have to weave a magic spell this weekend to get in the top 5 i reckon.
Will Val prove me wrong?
Well,he has in the past so watch this space!

Now, right there is the opinion of someone who gives their reputation! Total Knobebend!

This is funny stuff. Why/how would a boutique outfit like Ducati invest in technology for a dead formula like the 800cc class? Believe me, *all* of their bucks will be going into developing their 1000cc bike for next year. Mentally and physically, that's probably what Rossi is doing too.

Can you imagine the pressure that must be on Rossi right now? Someone who's generally regarded as a living legend is struggling and people have turned on him for it.
Everybody expects the best from him, but he gets injured and needs a bit of time to get back to himself, so all of the sudden he's a has-been, yesterday's fool, etc...
Why didn't anybody say that about Casey when he was struggling with his lactose intolerance? Oh wait, Casey's now the favorite for the title (after one. single. shaggin. race.)

I'm no Rossi fan, but I admire his mental strength.
Never thought I'd say this, but FORZA ROSSI! Prove your critics wrong!
