Jerez is Casey Stoner's joint least-successful circuit alongside Le Mans in France.

don't be hasty...write of rossi at your peril. He's not the washed up has-been everyone is calling him. remember he's only 32, not 38+

he could possibly (probably will) come good soon!

I think people still underestimate Stoner. He really is an amazing rider, equal on speed to Rossi just not quite the same racecraft or development skills.

Stoners title for sure this year.

its not worst track for stoner but for ducati because in his rookie year with a honda not being 100% fit he finished 6th. so i would not say that its a bad track for stoner but for ducati. and personally i believe that no one can catch him. rossi stoped him once but thats not the condicion now and jorge is good but not good enough to stop honda and stoner.

@ Ricky Haych

I'd love to agree with you, but i think Stoner is faster by some way, and has been for a long time. But as you say, racecraft on Rossi's part has kept him at bay. Stoner's inconsistency also.

I think he is past that now though, and everyone is in real trouble

Stoner could win this. But with lorenzo and pedrosa wanting to win on home soil, i think a 3rd for stoner wouldnt be too bad at all.

Who said Stoner does not have the development skill of Rossi? Really? Well lets see if Rossi can make that race winning bike win races again, as he certainly has sent it backwards since he got his mitts on it, thats for sure. Where people get the idea that Rossi is some sort of development god is beyond me.

Davey, people have this idea of Rossi because of his 2004 season.
In 2003 the Yamaha was really struggling, in 2004 it became a championship winner.
People (rightly or wrongly) attribute this to Rossi, and thus was born the legend of Rossi's developmental skills.
He's still got some magic in him, and I'm confident that the Ducati will come good...
..but just not this weekend!
