"We've had a lot of time searching for an answer to the effects of this injury and I'm relaxed because I finally know what has happened" - Dani Pedrosa.

I guess those who thought Pedrosa was broken and demoralised by his fellow teammate, and using his shoulder as an excuse, feel kinda of silly now...

This season is showing, if Pedrosa could battle in his condition for a podium and victories, then I guess the pilots that are healthy need to be concerned once Pedrosa is healthy himself...

As has already been said this is an operation being done to AID danni more than required. The pins and plate are putting pressure on the tendon in danni's shoulder causing the issue or at least excasperating it. Now the docs have basicly said 4 weeks is enough to heal from the micro surgery needed for this, which will allow the tendon to be free and unrestricted and then physio to help the plexus strengthen. I would not count out danni for the win here and this is great news for the championship!! Go Danni!!

I agree, this is not a major surgery and should give emediate relief. The worst part will be the incision itself. I'm no doctor, but I have been the patiant! LOL!!

It's a long championship and Dani could still be a contender. IMHO.

Good luck with the surgery Dani and I hope for a very speedy recovery for you otherwise we are in for a very dull season. I cannot see any reason other than accidents to prevent Casey winning the lot!!

Do you bu88ers actually *read* the articles? :p

Pressure on the nerve this, nerve that.
Read it again.
'Sub-fkn-clavian fkn Artery'!

Seems the plate's pressing on the blood supply to his arm innit?
Weird, but he must be getting something like arm pump but not because there's too much blood in the muscle, more the muscle's getting fatigued cos there's not enough blood flow to supply oxygen and clear the lactic acid sort of thing.

Anyway, tough little oik tho he is don't put big money on him til this is sorted.

Makes 3rd at Losail even more impressive tho dunnit?

"The pins and plate are putting pressure on the tendon in danni's (Dani's) shoulder causing the issue or at least excasperating it."

Looks like you've misspelled "exasperating" there, but the word you were searching for was "exacerbating". e.g.
I find the poor standard of spelling exasperating but the fact that people don't even bother to use a free spellchecker is exacerbating the problem.
