Hayden's nowhere, it seems. So even the bike is worse comparing to 2010, Valentino does same thing which Casey was doing on most occasions - outshining Nicky.

Good on Stoner, Pedrosa, Rossi, Abraham, Hopkins.

The rich dad's kid from Eastern Europe is flying. 0.1s from Haydens's factory bike is not too bad for a teenager.
Hopkins has a good pace already and biggest room for improvement. I'd say Suzuki suits him. Once he has some more seat time he could do bigger steps than the rest.
I'll be disappointed if he doesn't fight for top 10

Everything you guys have been telling me is true.

Except for...

I'm not going to make a prediction,

OK F-it, maybe I am.

One of the guys you think is going to third,

is going to win it all.

OK. I guess I have to make a choice.

Dammit. Stoner. Lorenzo. Spies. Pedrosa. Dovisioso.

A good group of guys.

What if Rossi comes into play? Could happen.

Always have been a big Ducati fan and owner.
(I had a fully modified Monster 1000DS which ended up as a 1078CC with 114BHP and 122NM at the rear wheel which aint that bad for air-cooled 4 valve Duc engine!)
I am convinced that Rossi will eventually get the Duc up to speed, once he will be 100% fit.
From then on he and his team will be able to modify and find the right set-up in collaboration with the Ducati guys.
Well, lets wait and see if the near future proves that I am right.

Last race in Qatar Rossi had a good pace in FP1 but then failed to improve as much as his rivals at Honda and Yamaha. Let's see if this is the case today also..

But this championship is all about Stoner..

Where is RawDawg and all the Rossi haters in this discussion? Where's the usual degradation of the Ducati Team?

So, in conclusion, congratulations and well done to all the riders who have made improvements, I acknowledge that this is only FP1, and does not mean any specific rider will win the race, but it's still good to see a mix of riders up there with Stoner...

EDIT by CRASH.NET - Keep it about the racing and not other posters.

Wow! Rossi came out swinging!

But looking at the Q times last year, the top 8 were under 1.40 so there is a lot of time to be gain out there by a lot of riders. So we'll see how it shakes out.
