@knott66

I don't mind responding, but I do to someone that can't read. I said "I raced bikes" and my shoulder injury happened on the track. Sure my 1098S isn't a motogp bike, but even pros (max biaggi) have had some hard landings from a wheelie. He wouldn't even be taking the chance if his shoulder was THAT bad.

That biaggi wheelie was on a 500 and it was 12 o'clock and he had to get on the back brake to get it down. You should know things like this. When you roll off a 500 the engine doesnt brake. These 4 strokes do. Trust me doing a wheelie is nothing at all.

Nice to see people praising young Karel for once, I know its only practice but the kid is doing ok. He used to put some good rides in on the 250, where even with his dads backing couldn't get decent Aprilia equipment (of course there was nothing wrong with 250's or current 125) and did well last year, shame his off in Bruno set him back a bit.

makes me laugh on here when people disagree with you post even though it is obviously the case. the 3 peoples posts after mine all say the same think a wheelie on superbike let alone a 230 bhp motogp has not bearing on your shoulder at all.

Elias must see the doom in his MOTOGP future if he doesn't turn things around. John Hopkins is faster than him even after being out in the wilderness with injuries and racing just a few races in AMA with a busted wrist. He hasn't rode a GP bike since 2008 either. Elias should start looking toward WSBK.

sum ppl rekon power could be well above 250+ bhp, valentino rossi confirmed on a italian tv show that the 2009 m1 was at 250bhp. wudnt be suprised since the road 1000 are reaching 200 bhp mark

The Ducati boys are surely a surprise for me this session!

On paper this just didn't look like a Ducati track. With the riders complaining that the bike was under steering, one would think this track would be a nightmare - but not so fast.

Rossi, RDP, and even Hayden are in good position so far. The times are a bit down from not only this morning but last year as well so I wonder how much the temp and wind played a part in everyone's times.

Watching it on Eurosport, the guys said the times were affected by the wind. They also said Casey, Marco and Val were all running noticeably less TC than the others, judging by the lack of popping and spark chopping motor noise.
Rossi looked to be sliding that bike around for fun, getting it turned to negate the understeer..just like Casey used to do!

Big up for Karel. That tyre smoking, front end save was the best I've seen in ages..great time too.
