@ Rossiwtf & jon

The closest thing you can actually purchase, is the Ducati that has been on the rostrum, in all four of the races in WSBK this year, having won three. Unless you have over a million to spend, or at least 70k for the D916 that Ducati has floating around the market.

I have nothing bad to say about the R6, but prefer the 848 evo, as it is a better choice. But, to each his own...

However, honestly fellas, is accepting 14 million euros ever really a bad thing, especially if someone is willing to pay it?

Besides, it's not as though Ducati is footing the whole bill, so its really not a bad deal for them either...

You take the blue pill, you will wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland and you see how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

Remember... All I am offering is the truth, nothing more...

@Mad Aussie : PR work comes with the job, SPonsors are paying BIG money so it's only normal that they want their rider to make appearances...if casey wnated to "just race", then he should fund his own team without those "annoying" sponsors. by the way, can we talk again after stoner has at least 9 World Championships? THe only TRUE champion I have seen that is up to Rossi's standards is Jorge Lorenzo.

Stoner said you have to change your riding style to adapt to the bike, do not try to change the bike. Duc is not a bad bike. He won races on it last year. Rossi has to change his style as his smooth riding style is not working on it. His shoulder is preventing it? A few laps in qualifying should be okay, no?

Rossi has had a bad qualifying big deal lets just hope that the race show the trademark Rossi cutting through the field and some good racing.

Just remember Rossi has had better results from a bad grid position than any onther rider on the grid.

A multi world champion does not forget how to ride overnight

@Mike D
That's exactly my point Ducati do not have the money to fund their team ( no SBK team) so the burden on the riders is much greater Honda doesn't have that problem so the RIDERS can concentrate on riding the bike

I respect all the comments here. And I do agree with many. What I do observe about Rossi is that he has a systematic approach to solving problems and he typically finds them and gives reccomendations on how to get them fixed. I do think he can probably ride around the Duc's problems with a healthy shoulder, but in the end thats just a band aid! I think Stoner had some of the same complaints, but Ducati didn't wake up until he finally said screw them!!!
