@ Mad Aussie, do you seriously think that Honda riders DON'T have to make appearances??? You think Repsol is dumoing millions in that team without expecting anything in return??? Grow up! The Championship WILL stay in Yamaha Blue this year! Only Lorenzo is worthy of mentioning in the same sentences as Rossi.

@ Mike D

do you think that Repsol says to Honda make your riders do what we say or else, outside of Spain or Malaysia? Repsol want to be associated with Honda they are the main player not the other way round Ducati are not in the same position

Lorenzo in the groove, ching aling, consistent and fast.
Stoner fast and will battle til the end all year long.
Pedrosa may fade or not.
Look forward to all coming home on rubber side up.

De Puniet's first season on the Ducati is very comparable to his last three on a Honda. He seems to Qualifiy around 5th, 6th, or 7th at Jerez.

Last year, Kalio on the same bike finished 7th behind all the factory machines that finished the race and the first satellite bike to cross the checkered flag...

Three Ducati's in the top seven at Jerez, does not make it a bad bike...

ESPN Classic had a show about Rossi's best wins last night ... not ALL his wins coz they wouldnt fit into the time slot, so only his BEST.

How many features have I ever seen about Casey? Hmmm, none. Probably coz there's not enough race wins to fill a single show.

I've seen him on the crash reel a few times though.

@Mike D
Sorry but gotta agree with Nick 636 and Mad Aussie.
I fully respect Vale and his past achievements but that's what they are, "past achievements". In boxing they say you are only as good as your last fight. Well I believe that's true of alot of sports including this one.
It's starting to look like the guy at the bar that nobody wants to sit near because he's living in the past telling stories we've all heard a million times. It just gets annoying after a while and that's what's happening on here with The Vale saga. I've always been a Stoner fan but I want everybody at their best if I'm to part with my hard earned grade to go watch these guys. So you've got until Sachenring Vale cos that's where I'm goin this year!

@ TarmacTerrorist

2 races without a podium & just 6 without a win, & already Rossi is a 'has been'?

The fact that you & others think that, just proves how dominant he has been over the last 10 years.
If it was any other rider, hardly anyone would notice!
