“On Friday we considered whether it was worth racing here or better to pull out thinking about the operation. So this second place is amazing” – Dani Pedrosa.

Make no mistake there is a war going on in HRC between Pedrosa and Stoner. The glee eveident from Pedrosa's team was startling in comparison to what we have previously seen in public.
One thing that was reinforced from my weekend was that how serious and money minded this whole sport has become.Money is shrinking and if you are not the number 1 then cutbacks could be headed your way.Jobs and more are at stake here.
Pedrosa well I wish him well but I very much look forward to Stoner kicking your ass bigtime.

Pedrosa needs to win the championship this year! I really hope he does, he deserves another title and is a damn fast rider when everything is going well.

Pedrosa is going to be a major threat to Stoner's dominance once he gets over his shoulder injury and is a good bet to take the championship.

Those who believe Dani must win to keep his place at Respol Honda are dreaming. A guy who has spent his whole career at Honda, has given them 3 world championships and is always challenging for the MotoGP title, even though he has not won it yet is not gonna be kicked off the team any time soon.

HRC rewards loyalty and since mid 2010 when for the the fisrt time in years they have a decent bike they will press on with both Dani and Casey regardless of one of them winning the title this year.

Still can't believe he came second. Gutsy ride.

And yes fastfisheye he's unlikely to get the boot from Repsol, he's mad popular in Spain so his sponsors do get their money's worth.

Nobody said he was going to get the boot, geez paranoia floods the thread.Joke ok don't fret.
However that expression looks to be a put on for the pictures. This whole show is easily visible these days to those that can see anyways.
Interesting times ahead.

I think he looks genuinely happy on that podium- after people saying that Pedrosa doesn't show any expression it's refreshing to see him letting something out.

I respect Dani so much. He's a very introvert character- much like Spies.
Rossi and Lorenzo are great for the sport, very flamboyant.
Stoner and Edwards say what they're thinking, whether it be good or bad. Rarely follow the PC line though!

Dani and Ben don't give anything away, just get on with the business of racing.
After the Honda throttle stuck open he could've thrown his toys out the pram but he dealt with it like a true professional.
Not a PR sweetie but inside that Red Bull can is one litre of man up!

Dani did a great job in Jerez. Finish second despite of bad weather conditions, his injury and once more the annoying discussion about the alleged advantage of his height- that's really professional. Congratulation! I hope the OP solves his problems, because I would love to see him on many podiums this year.
