MotoGP » HAVE YOUR SAY: Who was your Jerez winner?

It was difficult to know where to look at times during the Spanish Grand Prix as speed was tempered with consistency, but who do you think was the best rider of the day?

I would say it is close between Lorenzo and Rossi. Lorenzo had a good chance to win here anyway, but with Casey getting 0 points that is more than Lorenzo could have asked for. ROssi because how often can you fall in a motogp race and still finish 5th? It would have been an easy race on his shoulder and 4 weeks more recovery to go. It worked out pretty well for him. Biggest loser is Stoner, unlucky to get caught up in a crash which meant he didn't score points and then can't control himself in front of the cameras and makes himself look a bit of a nob.

Hayden. After all his 4th places last year, an appauling Qatar and terrible practice / qualifying in Jerez, to not only stay on in those condition when so many others failed, but to also be consistent and quick just shows what a great rider he is. And some people still don't believe he was a worthy champion back on '06!

I would have said vale....but he made a mistake...and he took out stoner...which was a big mistake...after that he rode briliantly...but the fact that he took out stoner makes me choose Dani...i think that was a gutsy ride by him....nicky was good too...jorge..considerin his standards...not a great ride but just lucky....only if vale didnt crash...what a win it would have been...

@I would have!
"Casey,for resisting the urge to smack Rossi in the mouth!"

You are like a 5 years old or something ??

If he do that after the race, it could cost him is carrier. They are there to ride, box is another sport.

Lorenzo is the big winner of the weekend, jumping to 1st in the standings with 9 pts of advantage.
