Despite the hearing, the review will not affect the results of the Spanish Grand Prix.

The thing is, the Ducati engine was going, Stoner killed it and Simoncelli either killed or it died. So only Rossi's engine was going, that's why he was pushed back, the rest weren't.

I'm sorry that Casey got taken out, it would have been great to see the race at the front between the four main contenders.

But unlike Rossi, he shut his bike off. Even if in the confusion there was a lag in attention, it wouldn't have mattered because his machine never restarted. Moot point.

Next time, don't shut your bike off, Casey. But you could consider shutting down your whiny comments, lest they exceed your talent.

@ McbainUK
watched the video a few times. at about 27 seconds into the video, the marshalls give up on stoner's bike. the camera pans away and not much of stoner's pleading can be seen. but he asked them to push and then the group pushes his bike and they all realize its dead.
i get a feeling they all wanted to help rossi first. the point was not that if they helped or not, but who they helped first. if the 'rules' dictate them to act in an unbiased way, they have erred. not sure how race direction will see it.

Am I missing the point? I thought once a bike tips passed a certain angle there should be a device that kicks in turning the engine off, or is that just in superbikes, even then Ducati seem to have got past that, remember Troy at Silverstone in the peeing down rain, went down I think twice and managed to get going again.

mike hunt i think you need to watch again. By the time they reach the riders Stoner has his bike up already. They go to Rossi as he went down with the bike on top of him. When they realise they're both ok they split up and help both. They don't even push Rossi as he doesn't need it. A group of marshals try to get Stoner going but it he's pushed the kill switch....

It's not the job of the marshals to put themselves at such risk to push Casey around the circuit. They gave it a good go. That's at the end of the main straight and an incredibly dangerous position to be stood trying to bump start a rider.

show a bit of common sense.

Marshals are not aloud to push bikes on racing line, live tv footage does not prove nothing , you tube footage from inside of the track shows stoner had all the help he needed, these bikes are just to hard to restart
