Everybody has a voice of reason somewhere in the convoluted jungle they consider a brain.

We use that voice of reason and judgement to make left turns, to judge merging onto highways and freeways. Our brains can predict events in a linear fashion. Playing catch is the same idea.

Every racer has this voice, too. They know if they will make a corner or not. Know when they are going in too hot.

For people to claim that Rossi DIDN'T know the situation he was in only patronizes his intelligence and prowess as a top racer.

They should also know when overtaking another rider will reap the most benefits, as well as consequences.

It was a very desperate move on Rossi's part. I think it was pretty cool of him to hold the clutch to keep the bike alive, but I think the compliments should end there.

It happened and its over and done with. I just hope its not the one incident that keeps coming up this entire year.

Rossis engine was still running because if you watch during the crash, he keeps the gas on and the clutch engaged so it doesn't shut off. However I thought the rules say once your engine shuts off, you're done. Casey's engine went off. His race was over regardless of the fault by Rossi or what the Marshals did

The marshals reacted, as anyone would, at first glance it looked as though Rossi was trapped under the bike. Anyone who is put in that position will tell you, that the first concern is the safety of the rider. They then saw Stoner pull his bike off and maybe, just maybe they thought he was sorted.
It could be as simple as that.
But no doubt the conspiracy theories will continue like a dog chasing it's tail. Going around in circles.
The marshals in general do a great job for little or no reward. So if anyone wants to change things put your name forward and stand out in all weathers.

After looking at additional footage stoner had more marshalls around his bike than Rossi. Stoners helmet kept him form seeing the help he was getting. Now I really think Stoners comments are foolish and selfish. He actually wanted the marshalls to put themselves in harms way by pushing him up the track with bike still circulating. What a dotard!!!

I was expecting something to happen out of this incident as the HRC boss was very unhappy about this and how HRc is going to flex its muscle. When you factor Rossi vs Stoner ... Rossi will be favoured by Dorna due to his popularity & achievements for the current moment. On the other hand HRC vs anyone in Motogp circle, Dorna will always favour HRC as long as the show goes, as they cannot survive without them, as after all HRC run's this show indirectly. Remember HRC was the prime factor to get rid of the 2-Strokes. They were mighty enough to run their own Moto-2 Cup here without any contenders. Further, Imagine if they pull over night what it will do to the grid.

With all this talk about push starting the moto gp bikes maybe each corner should have a bump starter for the corner workers use. It might be kind of hard to carry but they shouldn't be to hard to use and it might be easier to use one of those then push the bikes.
