Thank you CRASH for stating the obvious. Well written explanation for some that do not understand certain politics.

Speculation can run rampant in all circles with the Associations involved and the protocols for the mfg, sponsors, rider, fim, dorna etc..

I do not think this is the case as it must be an enjoyable sport to participate and profitable for the business involved.

Guys... can you hear me up there on your high horses?!?! good... any team can do this! they are not breaking any rules. I don't care who goes out and tests, when they test etc etc as long as we get good racing. Money saving? B0llocks. Test riders will be lapping the privately owned tracks all the time in Japan/Italy or wherever. Was it really necessary for Honda to run 4 factory backed HRC bikes this year, probably not, but they want to win and that is how they feel they will achieve it. You could argue with that many factory riders they are gathering more info than Suzuki who have one bike in total. Unfair? no. That's up to each team what they want to do in order to give them the best shot at race wins/title. Now, go and collect your toys and place them back in the pram.

Clever huh? Some people would give there left nut to be in the position of any of the riders out there. Turbulence much better than a F! or F16 cockpit!
Knock all you want all the riders deserve the spot one way or another.

Do you really think that none of the riders on the grid including Rossi deserve their ride? Go ask the sponsors and riders themselves or better yet go to the grid and see it for yourselve. Rossi does have talent like all the others....

The ducati team's performance at the next round will prove if this is really 2012 development or a camouflage to improve the '11 bike. Time will tell.

This is not illegal but they're sure making good use of the loop in the rules.

Its about time they got some extra testing,a little testing of the first generation of next years engine in this years chassis will help all the teams. The current test riders are just too far off the pace
