He's not just hinting at it anymore, his name is actually on the Estoril entry list by now.

Really looking forward to see him back on the bike, though I do hope he'll actually be fit enough to do it and not risk prolonging his full recovery by rushing back too soon like De Puniet did last year.
But obviously there's no way to keep these guys from racing, so I'm just hoping he'll be as fit as possible.

Go Bati! :)

Alvaro, if you were on a honda you'd be up there with Simoncelli or better. you're a star, so just get through this season, turn in some good results and maybe you'll be on a better bike next year.

but hell, if the past is any judge, we know you'll be giving it all you've got whatever bike you're on!

Big fan of Alvaro since the 125s and I believe he's got a lot of talent, which he's definitely shown on a Suzuki that's lacking funds and development.
What is it with MotoGP riders and this seemingly superhuman ability to recover from injuries that would stop the average human being from doing their normal day to day jobs?
I hope he doesn't fall off and further hurt himself.

Sad situation all around. Bautista has to make damn sure he is ready. Aiming for Portugal seems almost pointless. It's not his fault Suzuki is putting in half an effort. His health is the main thing.

Amazign recovery...but really hope he doesn't rush it. WOuld love to see him back asap but missing Estoril to make sure he's 100% would be a wise choice. Best of luck to him, his talent deserves much better machinery!

Probably has a lot to do with seeing Hopkins on the bike and doing some reasonable times on it despite being out of gp's for a few years. Alvaro you need a Honda or a Yamaha to show what you can do. That ugly suckzuki is gonna chuck you off every time you try hard on it.
