For some reason I'd always thought this kind of op was fairly minor- keyhole surgery or something similar. Till I saw this post-op pic:

Yikes. That's gonna smart.

@Markmywords
I can tell you that Edwards will still be around after Crutchlow is gone. He had outlasted JT. He will outlast CC. Markmywords.

Edwards will always be around. Dude is solid and a great development rider from what I hear. He is a career rider and one of the most respected guys in the paddock.

(Kinda wish he would ride in SBK, just for the Castrol Honda nostalgia)

Not going to be easy for Cal this weekend.Recovering from an operation and riding an unfamiliar track.Doesnt get much harder!
But he is a trier,he will give it 100% effort and more than that you cannot ask of him.
As for the Cal/Colin debate,well as much as i like Colin and respect the man,i feel his time in Motogp may be winding up.With the rise of new young talent in the other classes i think Colin may only have a season or 2 at the top before a replacement rider comes into the picture.Although i agree that he is a solid rider and has the respect of all on the grid,i feel that is not always enough.Time will tell.
