IMO, both on dry and wet Lorenzo is favorite. 3 years in motogp, 3 poles in Estoril, 3 victories, twice set the fastest race lap. Estoril is to Lorenzo what Phillip Island is to Stoner, pretty much. Also, Lorenzo is ahead of the competition in points, which means he'll be calm and confident. Stoner has fallen 20 points behind and needs to claim back some of those points, so he'll take more risks. Pedrosa hasn't trained for a month, and we still have to see the results of his surgery. Rossi's bike isn't fixed yet although his shoulder is getting better. I'd say 1st Lorenzo, 2nd Stoner, 3rd Pedrosa.

If Casey can stay out of trouble i cant see why he wont be in with a good shout of upsetting Jorges plans. But it wont be easy,Jorge is bound to be favourite here.We will see!

It'll be really interesting to see how Stoner bounces back from Jerez..He certainly sounds bullish.
Can he show maturity and racecraft alongside his blistering pace to take the win and halt Jorges Estoril shut-out? or will we see a 5hit or bust attitude that ends in tears, as happened last season on the Ducati? Another DNF is unthinkable yet it looks like Stoner is coming out swinging...TAKE COVER!

@ Mohony...

LOL - I won't start a fight but your post was hilarious, but not for the reasons that you intended. Thanks - cheered up my evening.

Hope Stoner can get some points this time. Looking forward to some good racing, if not then BSB is on the day after for some guaranteed racing!

Ok Lorenzo is strong at Portugal
Casey is on a new bike that as yet he has not been able to test against the Yamahas
Why not do what Spies did with Rossi earlier this year, follow the guy around -learn a lot and put it to good use for the next 15 races?
if it costs a few points it could be worth it.
