Bamabang, very good observation about the chassis. Clearly the softer version was working very well in those greasy conditions, be interesting to see how it plays out at other tracks. Maybe Pedrosa has actually chosen the best chassis option after all.

@smoked glass clown, Vale is still managing to enjoy doing what it is he loves and having a laugh when things are not going his way rather than throwing all his toys out the pram and getting huffy about being outpaced in a drag to the line. I think that is rather grown up of him.

JB said many years ago, the difference between Valentino n Doohan or other riders..
Doohan n others were happy if they won..
Valentino was happy if he had a good race..

Oh really? he is happy when the race was good even he stuck in the middle? ok, I need to notice that couse I can't get it together...he need wins as oxygen, look at him when he is 2nd or 3rd...pure tihsllub masked by 'praising the enemy'! He can't make the fool to me. I don't buy it.

I am pretty sure that Rossi enjoyed his race with Dovi despite the outcome. The man loves to race. Anyway I'll bet he enjoyed his race better than George enjoyed his.

I like Dovi and following Rossi for so many laps he I'm sure he knew of his capabilities. If he felt that he could take it to Casey then he would have passed Rossi earlier. If he couldn't then there was no need.
