As much as l like the raceing in the Moto 2 class. Is seem to me, if Honda carn't win a championship in a straight fight against other factorys they just go and buy the championship. World championships are just that, and should not be a corporate controlled series. Come on the rest of you factorys, take the fight to Honda.

Can't agree with that.. At least Honda want to win and invest!
Some people are really anti Honda, but why? KTM rolled out a 250 4 stroke bike last year but where is everyone else?
Where is Aprilia? They have a 450cc 4 stroke v twin mx bike and modern 125 chassis- they should've been the first to give it a try!
Honda went to the IoM and won- they still believe in Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday. They are proud, and yes, sometimes too proud.
But they have , what, 4 factory moto GP bikes and 2 satelite bikes?
If Honda pulled out MotoGP would be over tomorrow.

Plenty of others are working behind the scenes on bikes - so I have every confidence this new class will be a success.

However I miss the days when we had more classes of racing (e.g. the 350's) - so would like to see 450 singles as well. They could be the next class after 250 singles and would be a good bridge to the 600cc Moto2 class. Could even make them twins and therefore allow the Aprilia V twin.

the strange thing about this new Moto3 class is that as the rules are currently written, Moto3 is much more sophisticated and probably more expensive than Moto2.

Perhaps Moto2 is about to have a revision?

I'm just wondering... When are we gonna know what technical advantages Honda is allowed this year to let them be more competitive? They're practically incorporated in DORNA with all the racing other than premeir class. I bet we might see them trying to turn all of GP classes into the Honda cup. All I can say is, Yamaha would've run away with the championship if they were allowed to use truly proprietary engineering, hence the exclusion of their FI system. And the divesting of Ohlins so that evryone else could have access, how nice of them. Money talks, and Honda is the transparent hand over DORNA. This season is a gift to the benefactor. They've been on the short end for 6 of the past 7 years... You don't make that up overnight w/o the help. Oh, not a fan of any particular rider, just dislike everything Honda and thier busiiness style. They are a soulless company, with generic products.
