You have to hand it to him. This is not the first time he has set a blisteringly fast time and then said "I could have gone quicker" or "didn't push it"

Casey, how come you didn't come out with a book titled, CASEY STONER THE NEW KING OF MOTOGP , after your 2007 championship like Jorge did after his???? I bet Casey would love to do a few fast laps on the Ducati!! Lets hope for some good battles tomorrow.

Stoner on a Honda is set to make life very miserable for non Stoner fans over the next few years.

Fastest rider on the fastest bike = 1st.

Rossi on the other hand...

5th fastest rider on the 3rd fastest bike = 9th.

His Alien status needs to be revoked and given to Sicboy instead....more deserving on current form.

In the Rossi post qualifying interview on MotoGp.com he is already complaining about the shoulder and the Ducati. Hicky Hayden(oops! freudian typing error) on the other hand was his usual classy self. Rossi is quickly becoming the GMOAT, or greatest moaner of all time!!!
