The BBC commentary really annoyed me.
Heavily biased towards Marco, completely ignoring the fact that Dani got into the corner first before Marco cut his nose completely off.
They also compared it to the Casey Rossi incident, which was just a mistake and a racing incident, whereas Simoncelli could have avoided smacking into Dani.
It looked to me like Dani had the line, and was as tight as he could be on the corner as he could get, the curbs at Le Mans are very high and Dani was left with no other option.

Rossi penalty for the incident in Jerez? Are you mad? Did Rossi cut Stoner's line while going through 1st turn? No. Rossi lost the front.

Here in Le Mans, it was a pathetic attempt to overtake. No way Simoncelli could've made it. He clearly cut Pedrosa's line. Pedrosa got the inside line first. That was a penalty imo.

Dovi and Casey absolutely the top guys! Well done to Vale. But he can clearly see that his prevailence is gone. The young fellas are able to kick his ass on every ocassion, no matter whether it is JLo or Dovi. The loser of the day, however, is team YAMAHA. Unless they do something really quick, the will soon watch their guys lose one race after the other. JLo was helpless today!!!

Some times I think race promoters are actively trying to kill racing.

It's racing. Banging, accidents and injuries will happen. Don't like it, don't race.

But no, instead riders and drivers will stop racing and try to pass for fear of penalty if it's doesn't work out.

Least can be thankful of road racing, where racers are still racers and not a bunch of moaning pussies.

feel so bad for Dani, fkkkin bonehead Simo needs a good talkin to, could ruin dani's chance of a championship or ruin his career, disgraceful!!

Rossi was totally gifted 2 places, he would have been 5th otherwise so dont get too over excited people.

Poor Dani. He really has no luck at all. Going down mainly to another rider's fault and breaking (AGAIN) a bone. And in the end, isn't it IRONIC that the race direction "gave" some extra points to his main rival, by punishing Simmoncelli and having Lorenzo go up one place????
BTW, I think the punishment to Simmo was exagerated, unless he was already in some kind of suspended sentence (which he might be, I don't know) - it was a risky overtake, but he didn't take Pedrosa down like Rossi did to Stoner in Spain!

Concerning Rossi, he did manage to do a better race than his pratice times would suggest, but without the Pedrosa / Simoncelli Rossi would once again be 5th. And, once again, he was beaten in a last lap fight - and again the wimpiest of riders, Dovisioso! In my mind, this no doubt proves that, either he is getting old and losing his motivation or his physic and stamina never fully recovered from his more "recent" bashings (like his shoulder injury)...

Stoner came as no surprise
