@Enginzrule: "Dani picked his bike up. Who knows why."
He picked his bike up because that's what you do when somebody is in the process of sawing your front end off. You've got two choices: You can try to deck the bike and make the corner inside the guy, but there's an excellent chance you'll lose the front and take both bikes out like that. Option 2 is stand it up, get on the brakes, and hope the guy can pass in front of you before you hit him. You may run off, but if you're lucky, the bonehead who's trying to pass you around the outside is carrying enough speed to get past you while you're braking. Sometimes that doesn't work out and you end up with him clipping your front, which is what happened to Dani.

Nah, of course Simo got it wrong. He should have filed an application with stewards about his maneuver, after approval from everyone - including Puig - he could have executed it. Still subject of scrutinizing to make sure he did it as prescribed.
What the heck is happening to MotoGP? Damn right those who said motocross is soon the only sport left.

From looking at the video you have to think like a rider, those who have raced or even done track days will understand. Sim's move cut off the line of Ped he had no way out ... he could not brake any harder at angle so he stood it up. The on board view is a good vantage point one second he is not there the other he is .... Ped was committed and on his limit, and from what followed Sim was not going to make the corner anyway. It was a rough move we want competition now we have one less at the front. Simi could have waited one more corner it was obvious he had the pace.

I can't say Marco was wrong but just overly aggressive(just like Lorenzo in his early 250 races). While all this drama is happening with Marco, his team-mate is still ahead of him on points,on a satellite bike.I would think that HRC should give Aoyama the works bike instead until Marco can turn his aggression down a bit.

the only crash (that I recall) Dani truly did not deserve was brake malfunction last year. when two riders go around a curve in close proximity and have the same speed and the same lean angle, they'll make the turn without crashing. the problem starts when the inside racer hits the brakes, stands up the bike. or when the outside bike jams the inside bike out of room to run. Marco is a wild rider but I think he is honest and if he jammed dani out he would have admitted that. Some insist that that was what marco did. I rolled the tape over and over it seems the former is true. Dani had room to go yet he hit the brakes. His own error.

simo... game over man, GAME OVER...! gauranteed you just lost your HRC support (puig is processing the paperwork as we speak). :( it was fun while it lasted. sure hope you are friends with elias...? 'cause you guys are going to be spending the rest of the season keeping each other company (ie. on track this).
