Im glad this wasn't completely overlooked.
You can't overstate how well he did to finish in the position he did, when he's barely 70% fit in a single bike team that's had much less development this year.

I'm a bit of a suzuki and an AB fan, but can't help being a little bit dissappointed with their performance at Le Mans.

Early on he was looking like he was the dominant rider in the group he was racing with and then faded to the back of them all by the end. I reckon he needs to get his krap together with setting the bike up better. The bike shows it's capable enough early on and then seems to stall it's progress mid race, AB's state of fitness probably doesn't help.

Having seen the guy at Day Of Champions for the last few years... Alvaro Bautista is a really cool and likeable guy, a great rider but alas he will never "shine" whilst at Suzuki. Good for him for sticking with them, but you must admit that if he was on a Honda or Yamaha he would be up there with Dovi and Simoncelli easy. Hope next year either Suzuki become competitive or Bautista gets a ride on a better bike. Go Alvaro!

Poor Bautista - I was turning back to the old days during Le Mans, he on the 125's & 250's was exciting to watch, very agressive on the overtaking, fast as anyone & very talented. I hope Suzuki have finished development this year and come out with 2 bikes, 2 riders ready for next, if he had the right bike - top 5 easy....everyone knows it. Pull your finger out Suzuki.
