@ Nob,
I respect your comment. I did not click disagree but on one hand people want more numbers on the grid, on the other hand you have other people that complain when they make concessions to avail the grid with more bikes. Not everyone can afford the current cost of GP racing. Concessions to make more engines and fuel available is very reasonable but I believe the engine allotment should be unlimited for satellite teams/CRT teams, until we have a definite disadvantage in win ratio for satellite/CRT teams. Also more testing time "alloted" (if they want or choose to use it) for Satellite/CRT teams because it is most likely that sat/CRT teams can only spend so much money and no more.
Anyway..that's just my suggestion. i think this is the start of a good thing.

someone please answer this for me....

what category do the satellite and customer teams fall under in this new 2 tier format?

some satellites (the ducati's) have bikes equal to the factory spec

and some hondas are satellites (gresini) while some are customers running last years stuff.

what rules will the satellites and customer teams fall under?

I for one are all up for more teams and riders. Surely this will make it more interesting, not only for the fans but will make for some pretty exciting racing. More teams and riders can only be good for the sport.

Yes StevieBoy and those 16 or ten or whatever number of riders come from some other category. could be moto2, superbikes, could be riders that are not riding this season i.e. hasbeens.

when those riders move to MotoGp C.R.T. then a similar number of rides open up where they came from.

So other riders get the chance to move to a better ride for their racing. is Good yes?

I hope it will be good for MotoGp and the rest of m/c racing.
