Why is this STILL a topic?

The only thing this shows is that MotoGP has so little passing and action at the front that an incident that if happen years ago no one would have gave a toss about it 48hrs after the race is talked about, analysis, and dissected for weeks on end. If this happen in WSBK would this STILL be the topic of articles? I think not because we see tough passes and a little rubbing there a lot.

This is quickly becoming one of the most overrated incidents of all time. Seriously, it wasn't even for the race lead for crying out loud.

Rawdawg, get used to it if poon jabbing race direction is going to penalize anyone who rides hard. The joke of it is, if you watch the video on the motogp website on the le mans highlights, you can see clearly simoncelli in front and pedrosa cant make the corner and turns into him. So for all you waste of oxygen breathing, whimp maggots who reckon that move was too hard, please don't watch Moto GP or claim to be a fan, your pussy attitude is ruining it for the rest of us.

I don't get it. Pedrosa stood his bike up and ran into the back wheel of Simoncelli's bike. If he'd have kept to his line he'd have never have hit Marco as Marco was never going to make the apex.

rawdawg it's probably still newsworthy because normally you wouldn't have one of the riders being such a pis5y little cry baby like Pedrosa is being. This makes it a better news story. :)

So something had to be done and better sooner rather than later.Simoncelli needs to understand you can't choose a line and just maintain it and disregard all circumstances surrounding it.
Basic stuff.

"If it was Valentino Rossi that turned in and somebody hit him, I don't think they Race Direction would have done the same thing."

Stop pointing at Rossi, forever 2nd Mamola! Say, "If it was anybody else that turned in and somebody hit him, I don't think they Race Direction would have done the same thing."

Do a little bit of Google search. Find the Noyes' article where he interviews Rainey, Gardner, both Roberts Sr and Jr, Schwantz and read how most of them agree what Simoncelli did was wrong. Oh, and so do most of the MotoGP grid too. It can't be that Simoncelli is right and just about every other rider is wrong.

People still talk because folks have build up an image of pedrosa as someone who is fragile and should "deserve" a WC. Well i dont think it is the case. So many have riden hard and fast and dont have a WC, so what? Then folks come and say oh he is fragile and doesnt deserve it lets punish the big boy there. Thats what hapened in in my point of view. Anyway, lets move on.
