The former champion was aboard a developing version of the Ducati GP12, just over a month after first riding the machine in Spain.

Oh I love it!!! So because he has done better than Stoner did last year on the Ducati you not start cherry picking years and bikes to get a comparison that you like.

Superb! Thanks for giving me a laugh on an otherwise dull Friday morning!

Why can't people just see that they are both amazing riders? As are the other 15 people on the grid...

Thanks so much for setting my mind at ease Vale. The right direction on a racing track is so very important for getting results of some sort not to mention the huge safety factor. Now I wonder what the motorcycle itself will be like? Are the wheels going to be fully circular? Will they also go in the right direction?I await your next anouncement with nervous excitement and a hint of trepidation.

Well said, my old mucker! Not that you're cherry-picking at all, after all Stoner did better every year on the Ducati except 2010 than Rossi has done after four races and I didn't want to be cruel and mention Stoner's first year vs. Rossi's first year at Ducati(Stoner 86 points vs. Rossi 47)so I picked Stoner's worst year in motoGp. I was just giving Yesminister a friendly hi since he bogged out totally on the earlier Stoner thread where the facts would have made his bias look as daft as it is.

Gap week between motogps, motogp site traffic must be slightly lower.
crash.net has 6 written articles this week since Monday 23rd.

4 of the 6 articles are about Rossi.

So far comments on those articles total average at 57

Which is pretty good for a completely nothing week.

crash.net know their customer base. Just pander to the fanboys.
Next week sure they gonna bring up some old lorenzo v rossi, or stoner v rossi stat to cover start of the week.

Registered now - but it's still me!

I was just going for like as similar a bike as possible (after all all comparisons are pointless really)! And that so many of the so called Stoner "fans" seem to want to shriek about how fantastic Stoner was last year on the bike, and how Rossi, fastest of the non Super Honda's in the last race, is past it and should give up (oh dear for the other 10 riders on the field - it's going to be boring with just the factory Honda's and Simo next year!)...

Having not seen the earlier Stoner thread I can't comment and just took your comment as a singular.

Whilst I am a Rossi fan, I just like seeing damn close racing and to be honest don't really care who wins* as long as I am entertained during the race!

* Of course if it's Rossi all the better :)

Where are the Dorna or FIM inspectors making sure this isn't a 2011-2012 hybrid with the intention to develop parts to reverse the embarrassment Rossi has endured so far?

Oh yeah and I want to hear Hayden's opinion of the bike since Rossi and Burgess have been sugar coating the fact that they can't win on Stoner's bike.

Hayden will give a honest opinion rather than the look at me comments Mr. Rossi is so well known for.

if we will see another weak show on this 46 painted in Ducati colors I predict more me-with-girls-kissing shows which actually is lost in direction as we're in motorcycling world not on pick-up artist world. same goes to mr. MysteryStyle-wannabe-Simoncelli
