MotoGP » Rossi: Ducati going in right direction with GP12

The former champion was aboard a developing version of the Ducati GP12, just over a month after first riding the machine in Spain.

I am positive that the ducati is headed in the direction that Rossi has requested, and they are in fact for the first time listening to their riders.

Even if it was crap, they wouldn't say it was crap. It would be funny to read a press release stating:

"We totally fvcked up. Next season is going to be a disaster."

Actually, that could be Suzuki's press release for the past seven years.

Interesting regarding the test riders. A great test rider is not necessarily a great racer and visa versa. A test rider needs to be extremely consistent and have excellent communications skills. Racing skill is not as important.

re: "Where are the Dorna or FIM inspectors making sure this isn't a 2011-2012 hybrid with the intention to develop parts to reverse the embarrassment Rossi has endured so far?"

no worries, they're not pissin' away vast sums of euro's on kit to be scrapped. despite appearances, borgo panigale simply does not have the resources for such "flights of fancy" during a recession.

I disagree......the inspectors do their jobs behind the scenes....do you see the inspectors before every race ? They do their work. shamarone, looks like you are a Lrenzo-Stoner fan

no cigar, too myopic. more accurately i pride myself on being an economic supporter of the niche industry that is motorcycling (as if there's an industry more worthy?:)) and an advocate for motorcycling's sub-niche and promotional arm... ie. roadracing.

re: "i dont care what happens this season... as a rossi fan.. i want him to win one last final championship before retiring.. that would be the best .!!!"

by the powers invested in me i officially grant the motorcycling award for "proper attitude and spirit" to this lad... :)
