I am sure crash.net will soon follow with all hubris about Rossi's crash.Forget his misfortunes.Unless he himself decides to jump ship, Vale is safe at Ducati raking in millions for ordinary results. The rider under the greatest pressure this weekend is Dovi. For all the races Dani will be absent, Dovi wont be racing Rossi anymore for insignificant placings, but truly for his job.Dani has shown that he can peg and even beat Casey.Surely, it is beyond Dovi to beat Casey. He however must at least get in his wheel tracks and come in no worse than 2nd.If he ends up scrounging for minor places in 5th or 6th 15 seconds down from a winning Casey,it is over for him Honda. He might as well start filling job applications elsewhere or contemplate exile in Moto2 or even WSBK.

Rossi's front end fold was so similar to unexplicable falls by Stoner last year, gentle tip in, not fast, bike close to upright, Vale must be starting get very frustrated with that bike and wondering just what he has to do to make any progress.

If Rossi was wearing Stoners helmet you would swear it was last year.

Dovi needs to pick it up 1 sec behind your teammate is just not good enough. If hinda didnt have Stoner they would be looking pretty average

@Trois, spot on. No wonder the Great One has been complaining so much this season about weight! Maybe Ducati should try putting Paris Hilton on that bike. She could hardly do worse than the Doctor's results so far.

#24 languishing in the back of the field yet again. so sad to see him this way
if he survives this season, he might just fare better with the litter bikes? time will tell...

How long before Preziosi and team cope for it? Honda have had the same amount of development time as they have. Rossi is proven which means the bike is not working and more importantly never has in it's current guise(I suspect it only looked like it worked in 2007(spectacular flop in 2008) because it had pace and tyres over the rest) No doubt now that it is fundamentally flawed. A good engineer is usually one who knows when something works. It's obvious ducati didn't understand the cf at all and still don't. There are minimum weight limits, swap back to alloy and hold your hand up for a good effort. The spiral into mediocrity needs the brakes now. Ps take a leaf out of hondas book, they poached the Yamaha electronics guys hey presto, Stoner looks competent. Do it now ducati as you can't afford another season of this... Rossi you can't either, go to Honda next year, Ducati are clueless.
