Great lap from Simo, race pace isn't qp, Jlo uber quick race pace also, Rossi struggled on the soft tyre same as Casey, his race pace looks same as his QP time. Definate forward progress again from Ducati.. but new engine, chassis still hogwalla..

@ Who's laughing now?

What happened was Stoner spent most of the session (including the last 10 minutes) on race rubber.

I'll make a prediction, if he doesn't get cleaned up in the first corner he'll sit behind Marco or Jorge for 10 laps then disappear into the distance

Stoner needs to beat Lorenzo. He gains nothing by beating Simo. If Simo is fast enough to keep away from the rest of the field, then Stoner can just follow him to the end. Lets hope it is that close.

@ Monster.
Bit of a dumb move on his part then, aye. Sitting in the pits and riding around on race rubber. WTF. Any other time he's going flat out on softies to get on pole. Me thinks you have a bit of Stoner in u. Excuses.

Why is everyone so upset with Arthur for stating the obvious?

Rossi has been no better in Q than 9th all year. Dani and CE aren't racing. It's simple math 9 - 2 = 7th. Rossi isn't anywhere near Dani and has only better Colin once in Q. Cal has beat Rossi every round in Q.

And it's so funny how some are jumping up and down excited that Stoner isn't on pole. News flash - he's 2nd not 2nd to last! Reading some of this post you would think he performed terribly and doesn't have a shot in the race.

Stoner has to stay clear of Sic during the first half of the race, until he either crash by himself or goes in the kitty litter. If I was Stoner I'd be having stomach cramps though, thinking about that first corner.
